There are many departments in BSMRAU . but I like most agroforestry department . Because all the teachers in this department are very active and dutiful in their responsibilities .

Agrofoestry is very important in Bangladesh especially in hilly area
and coastal area .The population of Bangladesh is increasing day by day
in increasing rate . It is a very big challeange to feed up the huge
number of population from limited land resoures. To feed up this huge
number of populaon , Agroforestry is very essential. So research in
Agroforestry is crying need . But research in agroforestry is very poor
in Bangladesh .The department of Agroforestry of our university take
some research on agroforestry in BSMRAU campus .
All
the experimental fields are designed by our experience teacher pro. Dr.
Md. Gias uddin miah and his colleagues.Some of the experimental fields
are alley cropping , pineapple based agroforestry, guava based
agrofoestry, annola based agroforesrty, ber based agroforestry,olive
based agroforestry, which are conducted by
the department of agroforestry in BSMRAU.
